Have you ever noticed that everyone has condiments and sauces in their kitchen? Oregano, Salt, Rosemary, chili powder, Cumin, Pepper, Malt Vinegar, Brown Sauce, Mustard, Mayo, Thyme, etc…etc…
What does what we smother our food with say about us? I once knew someone who had everything, and I mean EVERYTHING with sweet chili sauce. One could call this a metaphor for life, taking the sweet with the painful, but let’s face it, the lad is just a freak.
Describe your favourite condiment. Give us texture, taste, why you like it, the works. What does your favourite say about you?
Me, I’m going with Tomato Ketchup…

I never thought about that before, and I used to be a chef! I always think about food in relation to the past. The two are connected really I suppose. Anyhow, you,ve given me something to go away and think about.
Hi Catherine, Thanks for your comment. I’m a big fan of food; what sort of chef were you? Did you specialise?
Hello. I did a few different things but my favourite things to cook are bread and fish. I cook a lot of cake too but mostly because I like to eat it. I am into anything local, seasonal and sustainable. I guess my favourite chefs would be Heston Blumenthal and Tessa Kiros. What food do you like?
I love Thai, Indian and Mexican. I suppose I love anything spicy. take care and bon appetite.
